High-quality aluminum sheet and coil manufacturing requires precise, multi-stage thermal and mechanical processing. At our modern production facility, the manufacturing journey begins with direct-chill (DC) casting to obtain high-density slabs. Alternatively, continuous-casting (CC) lines produce thin strip stock directly, depending on the client’s mechanical specifications. Continuous-cast stock is ideal for basic forming operations, while direct-chill hot-rolled slabs are required for critical components, offering superior deep-drawing capability, fine grain structures, and isotropic mechanical properties.
Cold rolling is accompanied by intermediate annealing stages to manage work hardening. The material is then processed through tension leveling lines, which apply tension beyond the yield limit to eliminate flatness defects like center buckle, wavy edges, and residual stress.
For coated architectural applications, the coils enter clean room coating lines. Here, Kynar 500-based PVDF or high-molecular-weight Polyester (PE) coatings are applied using a continuous three-bake, three-coat process. This guarantees excellent color uniformity, chalking resistance, and weathering performance for up to 20 years in high-exposure coastal environments.
We implement a closed-loop quality control program. In the rare event of a surface or dimensional deviation, our metallurgical lab immediately opens an 8D report process.
