The main alloying elements of 8011 aluminum strip are silicon (Si) and iron (Fe), with a silicon content of 0.5 – 0.9% and an iron content of 0.6 – 1.0%. The remaining is mainly aluminum, along with trace amounts of other elements such as copper, magnesium, and manganese.

Mechanical Properties

In the O temper (fully annealed), the tensile strength is 70 – 110 MPa, the yield strength is 30 – 50 MPa, and the elongation is 20 – 40%. These properties make it have good formability and ductility, which is conducive to the processing and manufacturing of pipes.
